Description:

The HYGREXÖ dry air generator is unique in the fact that it does not require the consumption of fossil fuels. HYGREXÖ uses a closed-loop drying process that allows the unit to be more energy efficient in comparison to a gas fired burner box or infrared drying. Perfect applications for the HYGREXÖ include waterborne paint drying and drying of water washed components.

A perfect comparison is made between the gas fired burner box and the HYGREXÖ in the following application. The client is drying 360 bumper facia per hour. The current oven design requires a 10 minute drying time, 60 ft. drying oven enclosure, cool down tunnel, thermal panel construction, 30-60 minute start up time, outside stacks and exhaust fans, plus the oven requires temperatures of 180øF to dry the bumpers. A gas-fired oven operates at a cost of approximately $4.50 per hour. Using the HYGREXÖ dry air generator the design changes. Now only 7 minutes of drying time is needed, 40 ft. drying tunnel, no cool down tunnel, single panel construction, 15 minute start up time, no outside exhaust or stacks, and only uses temperatures of 120øF.

The cost savings are not only evident in the construction, but also in the operating cost, the HYGREXÖ only cost $0.75 per hour. The unit has been designed to operate using low electrical energy.
